Scope Of Work
This project entailed the transformation of the historic McCord Laundry Building, originally constructed in 1890, into the Eastern Shore Conservation Center. Our pre-construction services consisted of seven months working with the team on design, constructability, and budget. The interior finish floor was elevated due to brownfield conditions to allow for installation of an underslab vapor mitigation system and new concrete slab on grade. The scope of the project included restoring the historic steel single pane windows and glazing, masonry repointing and restoration, complete roof replacement and new sprinkler, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
