Project: Pageland, SC - Town of Pageland Sewer System Upgrades

Project consisted of replacing existing VCP sewer line with PVC pipe, repairing and sealing existing manholes, miscellaneous site work and paving for the project.
The work performed consisted of base bid replacement of approximately 1,652 LF of existing 10” clay pipe with 10” SDR 35, PVC; 1,635 LF of 15” clay pipe with 24” SDR 24 PVC; 1,355 LF of 8” clay pipe with 8” SDR 35, PVC; 160 LF of 12” clay pipe with 15” SDR 35, PVC; 489 LF of existing 10” clay pipe with 18” Class 350 DIP, and 380 LF of 15” clay pipe with 24” Class 350 DIP. Also, reconnect service taps and upgrade manholes and other related appurtenances.
The owner also selected alternate #1 which included replacing approximately 8,382 LF of existing 10” clay pipe with 10” SDR 35, PVC; 68 10” flexible couplings and city street crossings.
Key subcontractors and suppliers on the project included Erosion Defense (site stabilization), and Nicky Construction (jack and bore), and Ferguson Waterworks (manholes and pipe).
The project began in December 2017 and was completed in June 2018.
