Scope Of Work
Libraries on college campuses nationwide are evolving into collaborative, technical workspaces for students and faculty. To accommodate this change, Wilhelm worked with the University of Indianapolis and RATIO Architects to completely renovate three floors and the basement of Krannert Memorial Library. The design provides an ambient space blending the traditions of an academic library with a vibrant social space, a coffee shop and outdoor patio space helping to provide social engagement among students on-campus.
As design-build construction manager for the project, Wilhelm collaborated with RATIO Architects providing an ambient space blending the traditions of an academic library with a vibrant social space. A coffee shop and outdoor patio space help to achieve this ambiance and social engagement.
