Scope Of Work
Chapters Health System, along with Cutler Associates, built a new state-of-the-art, 16-bed Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland, FL. The 30,200 square-foot facility is specifically designed to address the needs of patients facing complex end-of-life issues, such as unmanageable pain and uncontrollable symptoms.
The hospice house features private rooms with lanais, sofa sleepers for family members, flat-screen TVs and spacious common living space. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, Skype and FaceTime access, a laundry facility, a play for children, a library with Internet-accessible computers and a bright spiritual retreat room with six custom-designed stained-glass windows.
